Today, September 11, 1996, the Clinton/Gore ‘96 campaign announces a new ad entitled "Opportunity”" The text of the ad follows:

Recession. Hard Times.
[1991]
Bob Dole votes to deny families unemployment benefits.
[1992]
[Dole] "The economy was never that bad."
10 million unemployed. [June 1992] Higher interest rates.
4 years later, unemployment, 7 year low. 10 million new jobs. We make more autos than Japan.
The President: growth and opportunity.
$1,500 tax credit for college. A $500 per child tax credit. Expanded Family and Medical Leave. A balanced budget.
